Duffy is back with one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of the year, ENDLESSLY. Written and recorded in New York and London, over the past year, the new album has formed a unique partnership between veteran writer Albert Hammond and the singer herself. The legendary Albert Hammond, a 2008 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, is best known for penning the classic songs "When I Need You," "The Air That I Breath" and "To All the Girls I Loved Before". Together they have written the next chapter of Duffy's meteoric career. The infectious lead single "Well, Well, Well" is the first taste from this heady confection and features an incomparable rhythm section played by Island Def Jam label mates the Roots. Album highlights include "My Boy," "Endlessly," "Don't Forsake Me," "Lovestruck," and "Breath Away."

"Endlessly" is the emotive second studio album by Welsh soul singer Duffy, released in the CD format and showcasing her distinctive blend of retro-soul, pop and contemporary songwriting. Known for her warm, slightly raspy voice and heartfelt delivery, Duffy uses "Endlessly" to explore themes of love, vulnerability and resilience, wrapped in elegant arrangements that move between cinematic ballads and rhythm-driven uptempo tracks. Listeners can expect lush orchestration, memorable melodies and a strong focus on vocal performance, making this CD an engaging listen for fans of classic and modern soul alike. The production emphasizes organic instrumentation and a timeless sound aesthetic, which gives the album a sophisticated, enduring character ideal for repeated listening. As a physical CD release, "Endlessly" also appeals to collectors who value tangible artwork, liner notes and the curated experience of an album played from start to finish.

Duffy emerged in the late 2000s as one of the key voices of the UK soul revival. Her debut album "Rockferry" became a worldwide success, driven in particular by the hit single "Mercy", and earned her prestigious accolades including a Grammy Award and multiple Brit Awards. With "Endlessly", she continues the path she set with her breakthrough, focusing on soulful storytelling, memorable choruses and a classic songwriting approach that pays homage to the great soul singers while remaining unmistakably her own. Her work is often praised for its emotional honesty and the way it combines vintage influences with a contemporary pop sensibility.

The CD is released under the label Polydor, a long-established and influential name in the music industry. Polydor has a long history of working with successful international artists across pop, rock and alternative genres, and is known for high production standards, strong artist development and international distribution. As part of a major global music group, Polydor provides the infrastructure that helps albums like "Endlessly" reach listeners around the world, while maintaining a reputation for quality and careful curation of its artist roster. On Duffy's soph set, her voice remains, at best, an acquired taste. The Amy-Winehouse-on-helium tone, coupled with a late-note, flailing vibrato that levitates two or more scale intervals above the original melody, makes for a loony-tunes listen.
