This is an EP of the second single from the Gossip's popular Kill Rock Stars release, "Standing in the Way of Control". It includes the original version of "Listen Up" as well as new remixes by the likes of legendary producer Arthur Baker (Afrika Bambaataa, New Order) and DJs MSTRKRFT and a Touch of Class. The EP also has a remixed version of "Standing in the Way of Control" by Le Tigre, and a crowd-pleasing cover of "Are U That Somebody" by Aaliyah.
"Listen Up!" from the album "[m=43491]". Recorded at Bear Creek Studios. "Are U That Somebody" [published by] Black Fountain Music / EMI April Music Inc. / Herbalicious Music / TCF Music Publishing Inc. / Virginia Beach Music / W B Music Corp. Track 3 add. productionn and remix for A Touch Of Class Prod. Track 4 mixed at The Cutting Room, New York City. Made in Canada. The title appears as "RMX" on the front cover and disc and as "Listen Up!" on the spine. Track 2 subtitle appears as "MSTRKRFT Rmx" on the inlay and as "MSTRKRFT Remix" in the booklet. Track 3 subtitle appears as "Arthur Baker Rmx" on the inlay and as "Arthur Baker's STNY Mix" in the booklet. Track 4 subtitle appears as "A Touch Of Class Rmx" on the inlay and as "ATOC Mix" in the booklet. Track 5 subtitle appears as "Le Tigre Rmx" on the inlay and as "Le Tigre Remix" in the booklet. The most complete version of each title has been used for the above submission.
