20 Anos was initially released on May 18, 1990. The album was produced by Spanish singer-songwriter, composer and record producer Juan Carlos Galderon, who had worked on the two previous albums by Luis Miguel. A large majority of the tracks from the album received radio airplay but the hit singles were "Tengo Todo Excepto A Ti, "Entrégate", "Sera Que No Me Amas" and more. In1991, the album received a nomination for a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album for the 33rd Annual Grammy Awards. The album broke the record in Mexico of most copies sold in one weekend with 600, 000 copies sold.
