Alexander S. - 16/Jan/2020 In the mid-70s, “southern rock” still continued to arouse keen interest among fans of rock music and many groups of that cohort tried their best to stay on the wave of this interest. It turned out differently for everyone, however such names as The Marshall Tucker Band, Outlaws, Little Feat, Wet Willie, as well as groups from Jacksonville, the conditional capital of the "southern rock" - The Allman Brothers Band, 38 Special, Blackfoot and, of course Lynyrd Skynyrd were among the favorites. Mighty men in hats with cockades and cowboyly-wrapped fields, in leather boots with clinking spurs and in sleeveless jackets with guitars at the ready, gathered crowds of fans. Their unpretentious music, without pathos frills, but understandable to everyone and every inhabitant of the American provinces will be in demand for the next few years. Among the most actively promoting "southern rock" were LS musicians. The leader composition "Gimme Back My Bullets" ("Give me back my bullets") will become one of the pivots in all their performances of that short period of time allotted to these guys.
