Mad Season was an American rock supergroup founded in 1994 by layne staley (vocals), mike mccready (guitar), barrett martin (drums), and john baker saunders (bass). The band recorded only one studio album called 'Above,' which was released in 1995. Despite the band's brief existence, Mad Season has left an indelible mark on the music industry and the rock genre.
