The PATCHBOX 365 STP Copper Cassette (C36STPXC6AXX1B) from Patchbox is a retractable, pre-terminated CAT 6a STP cabling module designed for structured cabling in network racks. It integrates neatly into the PATCHBOX 365 cable management system and provides shielded twisted pair copper cabling for high-performance Ethernet applications up to 10 Gigabit over copper, depending on the rest of the installation. The cassette enables fast, clean and clearly organized patching while reducing cable clutter and installation time.
Technically, the cassette uses CAT 6a (Category 6a) STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) copper cable, optimized for data transmissions up to at least 500 MHz in accordance with the CAT 6a class. The STP shielding construction helps to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, making it suitable for environments with a higher density of cables or electrical noise, such as modern data centers or enterprise server rooms. The cassette is retractable: the cable is stored in the cassette and can be pulled out as needed and retracted again, which protects the cable from mechanical stress, bending and tangling.
