Description:Third full length album for Jvox, who presents here his own personal combination of flowing electronica, warm sounds and downbeat. Precise but warm, and always groove-ridden, QED injects a impressive dose of humanity and audio raftsmanship in his IDM sensibilities. For his third CD (and first on Ad Noiseam), New York City-based Joel Tallent (a.k.a. Jvox) presents with QED an album in which his abstract beats get combined as never before with thick bass and a resolute sense for warm compositions. Starting out as an MC in the late eighties, Joel Tallent moved to more electronic territories in the early nineties, then focusing on hi-fi electronica. Also active in the field of visual design and animation and the author of several cartoons, Jvox also signs the unsettling video for the track Hog to be found on the CD. QED shows a multi-talented artist reaching new highs in his craft and moving seamlessly through sounds, structures and genres: Quod Erat Demonstrandum. A demonstration which Ad Noiseam is proud to be able to present and promote.
