Marking a darker, heavier return to the band's roots, this record captures Black Sabbath in an aggressively modernized early-1990s sound: massive guitar riffs, thunderous rhythm work and a dramatic, expressive vocal performance shape an atmosphere of dystopia, alienation and spiritual struggle. Lyrically, "Dehumanizer" dives into themes of dehumanization through technology, loss of faith, social decay and the darker side of human nature, making it both musically intense and conceptually cohesive. The CD format offers a clear, dynamic audio experience and is ideal for collectors and fans who want to enjoy the album as a complete work, track by track, in its original sequence and with any enclosed booklet or artwork that may accompany physical editions.
As one of the defining bands in heavy metal, Black Sabbath have had a monumental impact on rock music. Founded at the end of the 1960s in Birmingham, England, they are widely regarded as pioneers of heavy metal, shaping the genre with their dark sound, heavy riffs and ominous atmospheres. Across their long career, Black Sabbath have released numerous influential albums, and they have been honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and many other accolades. Their songs are considered classics that have inspired generations of rock and metal artists, and their name stands for timeless, powerful and uncompromising heavy music.
The manufacturer and label EMI has long been one of the most important names in the music industry. As a major record company and publisher, EMI has worked with many internationally successful artists and contributed to the global dissemination of their music. The label is known for high production standards, professional distribution and a diverse catalog that covers rock, pop, classical and many other genres. An EMI release stands for reliable quality in sound and presentation, which makes this CD edition of "Dehumanizer" a strong choice for both dedicated fans and new listeners discovering Black Sabbath's heavier side. | | | Producer: |

Igor V. - 14/Nov/2020 This is the sixteenth (!) Album from Black Sabbath. When I heard it for the first time, it impressed me. But after many years I listened to it again and realized that the album was rather boring.
| | Alexander S. - 11/Jul/2019 Definitely one of the best albums of the group and the best album with Dio. All things are very strong memorable hits, and this is the main thing. This is sorely lacking for most of the group's albums, and here it is abundant. Yes, and Dio sings so that nothing but enthusiasm does not arise. Musically, the album combines inadequate severity, branded doom's buoyancy and modern sound. The album impresses with integrity and monumentality. However, a lot has been said about the music of this outstanding album, and therefore there is no point in repeating. I would like to note only that the group for its entire history has two clearly separable periods of creativity - with and without Ozzy Osbourne. So this album is definitely the best creation of the second period. And if you compare it with the best creation of the Ozbourne era - the immortal opus of “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath”, then they are completely different in spirit, and therefore you shouldn’t compare them to the “better-worse” subject. In other words, “Dehumanizer” is an absolutely posh album, the strongest and most beautiful.
| | kostas k. - 14/Sep/2018 Great album with some weak songs but without affects the total result
| | Vagner C. - 04/Mar/2018 With Ronnie Dio back to the mic, Black Sabbath wrote their most heavy metal album in its long history. Dehumanizer is a great heavy metal album from the 90's.
| | Eduardo F. - 25/Oct/2017 After a rough decade, Sabbath's Mark III came back to deliver one of their finest albums.
| | Oleg R. - 27/May/2015 Ronnie James Dio IS sabbath for me! This album is heavy and is the only album that left me gobsmacked after the first listen.
A brilliant album - play it loud!!!
| | Philip - 10/Feb/2011 Schade! Nachdem man sich gerade gefreut hatte, dass mit 'Seventh Star' und 'The Eternal Idol' auch die - sagen wir mal - weniger populären Black Sabba...
