| Description: | Underbelly' is the most talked about Australian television event in years. It is based on the real events of the 1995-2004 gang war in Melbourne. The series began screening in february 2008 on the nine network in all Australian states and territories except victoria, due to a court injunction. That ruling has turned it into one of the most illegally downloaded or bootlegged shows in Australian history. The series will also air in New Zealand, scandinavia, Canada and France. The 'underbelly' soundtrack features exclusive tracks and remixes from the likes of nick cave & the bad seeds, godthe easybeats, jack blanchard & misty morgan, riot in Belgium, the paper scissors, the panics and includes award winning composer burkhard dallwitz's 'opening theme' & 'underbelly suite'.
