Description:The Collection by Lynyrd Skynyrd, released 5 March 2001, includes the following tracks: "Simple Man (Original Version)", "The Needle And The Spoon", "What's Your Name", "Don't Ask Me No Questions" and more. This version of The Collection comes as a 1xCD. -
Import only compilation by the definitive Southern Rock band, who managed to blend gritty Blues-Rock, a touch of down-home Country and a Hard Rock edge and virtually created a new way to Rock 'N Roll! 17 tracks including 'Sweet Home Alabama', 'Gimme Three Steps', 'Simple Man', 'Needle And the Spoon', 'I'm a Country Boy', 'What's Your Name', 'I Ain't the One', 'Gimme Back My Bullets', 'Saturday Night Special', 'Whiskey Rock a Roller' and 'That Smell'. Universal.
Track 5 The needle and the spoon is credited to Zant/Collins/Collins. I can only find the song as written by Van Zant and Collins, the only other unlikely collection is Leila Collins, Allen`s mother who was a Country and Western singer who taught Allen to play the guitar.

HYUNG RAE K. - 24/Dec/2019 5 of 5 Stars!
Lynyrd Skynyrd's 2001 compilation best album and it has not their hit song free bird. But all song is nice.
