HYUNG RAE K. - 27/May/2022 SOAD's debut album is considered by many fans to be their best offering. While I don't reside in this camp I do believe it's an excellent album, full of creative songwriting (Peephole, Darts, War?), heavy bangers (Sugar, Know, Ddevil) and surreal, almost Dadaist lyricism.

Alexander S. - 07/Aug/2019 Perhaps the album closest to the rest of the so-called alternative music. The quartet of American Armenians is not shy of their hatred - screaming, screeching. It should be noted that the record on the album is not bad, but in terms of bass and other characteristics it is more suitable for alternative metal. The atmosphere of rage, and sometimes impotent anger, flows directly from the speakers of the speakers into the ears. Guitar riffs are more standard than in later releases, but still caress the ear. I especially want to highlight the vocals - it sounds unusual at the first listening, but the corporate identity of SOAD is already felt. Of the tracks, "Suite-Pee", "Spiders" can be especially noted. This album also differs from other releases in that it lacks as such a theatricality (recitative, singing by voice, etc.), acquired on later albums. Recommended only to fans of the group.
