Description:Ebo Taylor ist seit über sechs Jahrzehnten eine wichtige Figur in der Musikszene Ghanas. Er wird heute zu Recht als einer der wichtigsten Musiker, Komponisten und Arrangeure von Highlife, Afrofunk und Afrobeat verehrt. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Apagya Show Band und Musikerkollegen wie C. K. Mann und Pat Thomas schuf er seinen eigenen bemerkenswerten Stil afrikanischer Musik: eine einzigartige Synthese aus Highlife, Jazz und Afrobeat. Darüber hinaus kooperierte er mit Koryphäen wie Fela Kuti und Gyedu-Blay Ambolley. »Conflict NKRU!« wurde 1980 veröffentlicht. Zu jener Zeit injizierte Taylor den traditionellen Highlife-Grooves Ghanas eine starke Dosis Funk. Die LP kommt in einer limitierten Edition in gelbem Vinyl wieder heraus. - 180GRAM
