Super has everything you would expect from the Pet Shop Boys, lyrically witty and observational with occasional poignancy, music with great hooks and melodies. It’s the second part of a Stuart Price produced trilogy (2013’s Electric being the first).

This album is a wonderful continuation of their collaboration with Stuart Price, and a worthy sequel to "Super". Longtime fans and even some newer ones might find their taste buds satiated by the excellence of highlights such as "The dictator decided", "Say it to me" and "Into thin air". While everyone basically gives up on acts if they're in the business for more than three decades, the Boys show that retirement is for suckers.

The collaboration with S. Price changed the PSB music fundamentally. It became more clubbing not so romantic. This album was the first try to turn back to the roots. That's why the album is 50/50 techno and pop. Not bad but still the spirit of the real PSB is still to be found again

Not as memorable as some of the early works, but a worthy PSB album. You will warm up to it with a few listens.
