 | | Description: | Genau ein Jahr nach der Veröffentlichung des Albums â??Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possibleâ?? veröffentlichen Enter Shikari die Begleitkollektion â??Moratorium (Broadcasts From The Interruption)â?? in 2 unterschiedlichen Versionen.
- .. (BROADCASTS FROM THE INTERRUPTION)Out of the blue, and exactly one year to the day from the release of the album Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible, Enter Shikari release the companion collection Moratorium (Broadcasts From The Interruption). Upon it's release, Nothing Is True... received universal critical acclaim, gave the band their sixth UK top 10 Album Chart placing (finishing the week at #2, their highest position yet) and by end of 2020 had been chosen as Album Of The Year in the annual Kerrang Magazine reader's poll, as well as earning the band their second Rock Sound cover in twelve months, as one of the magazines choices for Class Of 2020.* Tracks 7 & 12 are stylised entirely in lowercase.
* Track 6 stylised entirely in capitals.

Housed in gatefold cardboard case with CD contained in a slipcase inside"Moratorium (Broadcasts From The Interruption)" on CD by Enter Shikari is a special collection that captures the creative and emotional intensity of a band confronted with a world in disruption. Released during a period of global interruption, this disc gathers alternative versions, reworks and intimate live takes that illuminate Enter Shikari's songwriting from a new angle: more direct, often more fragile, yet still driven by their trademark blend of post-hardcore energy, electronic textures and socially engaged lyrics. The CD format offers a coherent listening experience that flows like a diary of that unique time: from restrained, atmospheric passages to explosive crescendos, the tracks document how the band re-imagined their own catalogue in isolation and transformed distance into connection. Carefully sequenced and produced, "Moratorium (Broadcasts From The Interruption)" feels both like a companion piece to their studio work and a stand-alone statement about resilience, creativity and community in uncertain times.
Enter Shikari, formed in the UK in the early 2000s, are known for their unmistakable fusion of heavy guitar riffs, drum & bass, trance and experimental electronics, paired with politically and socially conscious lyrics. Over the years they have built a devoted global following through tireless touring and a reputation for explosive, high-energy live shows. Their albums have repeatedly entered the UK charts, and the band has been praised for continuously evolving their sound while remaining unmistakably themselves. This CD underlines why Enter Shikari are considered one of the most innovative and influential bands of their generation in alternative rock and electronic-infused post-hardcore.
The release comes from So Recordi, an independent label that focuses on distinctive artists and carefully curated catalogues rather than mass-market releases. So Recordi is known for giving bands the creative freedom they need to refine their sound, with an emphasis on solid production values, thoughtful packaging and sustainable long-term artist development. With "Moratorium (Broadcasts From The Interruption)", the label underscores its commitment to publishing works that capture a specific cultural moment and present it in a way that rewards both casual listeners and dedicated fans who appreciate depth, experimentation and authenticity.
Whether you are discovering Enter Shikari for the first time or adding another essential title to your collection, this CD offers an in-depth look at a band turning constraint into art. It is ideal for fans of adventurous rock and electronic hybrids who value both energy and substance, and for collectors who appreciate special recordings that document an artist's evolution outside the classic studio-album cycle. | | | No. of tracks: |
