(another Evans Trio favourite), Eddie Harrisâ??s â??Freedom Jazz Danceâ? and five Johnson originals including â??Samurai Flyâ?, a recasting of â??Samurai Hee-Hawâ?, which Marc previously recorded for ECM with his Bass Desires band and with the John Abercrombie Trio. - With Overpass, Marc Johnson makes a decisive and intriguing contribution to ECM's solo bass tradition.
