| Description: | Harpazo - The Crucible Harpazo is a super-group formed by guitarist Marc Centanni and the legendary Producer/Songwriter/Multi-instrumentalist Gary Wehrkamp, known for his work in Shadow Gallery to name a few. Together, they have crafted a science-fiction thriller rock opera called "Harpazo: The Crucible". Featuring elements of progressive/power metal with symphonic / industrial undertones and a hint of Celtic influence, the music has been meticulously planned to complement the lyrics and story resulting in an amazing sonic experience. Described as "Armageddon Metal," the sound of Harpazo is both powerful and symphonic, with industrial nuances adding depth to the compositions. It draw inspiration from classic progressive metal rock operas of the 90s and 2000s like Dream Theater's "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory" and Shadow Gallery's "Tyranny". Featuring an impressive lineup of vocalists including DC Cooper of Royal Hunt, Gary Wehrkamp of Shadow Gallery, and local musician Lee Lemperlee, along with renowned drummers Mark Zonder and Niklas Kahl, Harpazo's cast brings the story to life with emotive performances. Additional guest appearances include Bruno Sa from Operation Mindcrime on keyboards, and a diverse array of singers taking on various roles throughout the album, including Les Carlsen of Bloogood, Rey Parra of Sacred Warrior, Christian Liljegren of Narnia, Michael Drive Lee of Barren Cross, Brendt Allman of Shadow Gallery, and Enzo Donnarumma of Enzo and the Glory Ensemble Band. The story is set in Rome, Jerusalem, New York, and Washington DC, "The Crucible" takes listeners on a journey through a dystopian world where the struggle against a New World Order unfolds.
