Description:The new CD Haptic by the French guitar duo Lallement Marques, two musicians internationallyrecognized for it's interpretations of the contemporary repertoire, presents a singular programthrough the compositions of three authors: Helmut Lachenmann, Mark Andre and Pascale Criton,a journey through the surprising sounds of music of our time. The publication opens with Salut furCaudwell by Helmut Lachenmann ((1935), a piece composed in 1977, with a performance by theDuo resulting from a long experience developed together with the composer. Characterized by apermanent tension, the score has become a reference work for the repertoire for two guitars, apiece by Lachenmann follows iv 14 by Mark Andre (1964), a piece of "intense fragility", terms inwhich, says Elisa Constable, "all the compositional challenges of Mark Andre's work, profoundlyoriented towards the search for an ineffable artistic and spiritual." This intense journey of listeningto the textures of different compositional languages ends with Trans, in five movements, by PascaleCriton (1954), an author who in his research he particularly explores the variability of sound andthe spatialization of listening.
"Haptic" is an audio CD by the Lallement Marques Duo, presenting a finely curated chamber music program that focuses on subtle textures, intimate interplay and detailed sound design. Across the album, the duo explores the "tactile" side of sound: delicate dynamic nuances, finely shaped phrases and a transparent ensemble balance create a listening experience that feels almost physical. The recording emphasizes clarity and warmth, allowing every line and color to emerge naturally, while the repertoire is chosen to showcase both lyrical depth and rhythmic vitality. With its refined interpretation and careful pacing, "Haptic" is aimed at listeners who appreciate concentrated, closely recorded performances and the special atmosphere of small-ensemble music.

The Lallement Marques Duo is a chamber ensemble known for its close musical communication and stylistic versatility. The duo has attracted attention through performances that highlight precision, expressive detail and a strong sense of narrative within the music. Their work often focuses on carefully constructed programs that connect pieces through atmosphere, texture and contrast rather than sheer virtuosity, making them a compelling presence on the contemporary chamber music scene.

The CD format underlines the production's audiophile ambitions: a stable, high-quality sound carrier that invites repeated, focused listening. It is suitable both for dedicated home hi-fi systems and for collectors who value a tangible physical edition with full-length album coherence.
