About Frank Zappa:
Frank Zappa was an American musician, composer, and filmmaker. He was one of the most prolific and innovative musicians of the 20th century, and his work spanned a wide range of genres, including rock, jazz, classical, and electronic music. Zappa was also a political activist and satirist, and his music often reflected his views on society and culture.
Zappa was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1940. He began playing music at an early age and formed his first band, The Blackouts, in high school. After graduating from high school, Zappa moved to Los Angeles and began working as a session musician. In 1964, he formed the Mothers of Invention, a band that would become one of the most influential and controversial rock bands of the 1960s.
The Mothers of Invention released a series of groundbreaking albums in the 1960s, including Freak Out! (1966), Absolutely Free (1967), and We're Only in It for the Money (1968). These albums were known for their experimental music, their satirical lyrics, and their innovative use of studio technology.
In the 1970s, Zappa continued to release solo albums and albums with various backing bands. He also began to experiment with film and video, and he directed several short films and feature-length films.
Zappa's music continued to be innovative and challenging throughout his career. He released over 60 albums, and his work was recognized with numerous awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance in 1988.
Zappa died of prostate cancer in 1993 at the age of 52. He is considered one of the most important and influential musicians of the 20th century.

Die nun vorliegende Box kommt in sehr guter Klangqualität und enthält ein paar schöne Live-Mitschnitte.
Große Überraschungen gibt es nicht, jedoch macht die Box rundum glücklich.
