Description:Cosmic Overdose sind nichts weniger als schwedische Legenden, wenn es um elektronische Musik geht. Bereits 1978 von Dan Söderqvist und Karl Gasleben gegründet, gelten sie mehr oder weniger als der erste elektronische Act in Schweden. Die Band veröffentlichte damals zwei Alben in voller Länge und trat mehrmals im Radio/TV auf. Progress Productions hat diese Klassiker und einiges unveröffentlichtes Material 2016 in der Box â??Koko Totalâ?? wiederveröffentlicht. Diese Neuveröffentlichung war das erste und letzte Material, das die Band in englischer Sprache aufnahm, bevor sie 1981 endgültig aufhörte und sich als Twice A Man neu formierte. â??Final Kokoâ?? wurde Anfang 1982 in einer sehr limitierten Auflage auf Kassette veröffentlicht und gilt als eines der seltensten Stücke in der schwedischen Elektroszene. Nun ist das Album endlich wieder erhältlich und wurde von Hans Olsson im Svenska Grammofonstudion in Göteborg sorgfältig remastered. Als Bonus hat die Band auÃ?erdem einige Remixe hinzugefügt, die bisher nur digital erhältlich waren. Ein wahres schwedisches Meisterwerk und Juwel. Ein sehr wichtiges Stück elektronischer Musikgeschichte ist nun endlich wieder in physischer Form erhältlich! -
Progress Productions re-released these classic album plus some unreleased material back in 2016 in the box "Koko Total". This release "Final Koko" was the first and last material that the band recorded in English before they 1981 put the band to rest for good and reformed under [a=Twice A Man]. Please note that this release will fit inside the "Koko Total" box as well. Making it a 4CD box. Released by Progress Productions with kind permission from Silence Records
