This 2009 remastered / reissue CD was made by [l=Americ Disc]. The disc is housed in digipak cover which includes a multi-section foldout insert with liner notes. The lyrics for the 'Head' album songs are printed on the digipak's inner left. Disc artwork: "? 1989 and 1990&1993 the Jesus Lizard (BMI) EXCEPT CHROME ? CHROME MUSIC (ASCAP) ?1989-2009 ?1989-1993 TOUCH AND GO RECORDS INC". Digipak inner left: [Tracks 1 to 10] "This was recorded with some of the most up-to-date equipment available at CHICAGO RECORDING COMPANY in December 1989." Digipak rear cover: " ? 1989&1990&1993 The Jesus Lizard (BMI) ? 1989&1990&1993 Touch And Go Records, Inc. Chrome ? Chrome Music". A rectangular clear sticker with gray text is adhered to the digipak rear cover, which reads: "MADE IN CANADA". - ? ? ? ? - Tracks 1 to 10 from the [url=/master/6261]Head LP[/url] (Touch And Go, 1990). Tracks 11 to 15 from the [url=/master/179183]Pure EP[/url] (Touch And Go, 1989). 'Pure' is the only release from The Jesus Lizard recorded with a drum machine. Drummer Mac McNeilly was added to the group soon after it was recorded. Track 16 is ten seconds of silence to separate the 'Pure' EP from the bonus tracks below: Track 17 from the [url=/master/778300]Chrome 7"[/url] (Touch And Go, 1989). 'Chrome' is a medley of two songs, 'TV as Eyes' & 'Abstract Nympho', which were originally performed by the band [a=Chrome (8)]. Track 18 recorded live in Boston, 11-'90. Track 19 recorded live in London. Tracks 18 & 19 were first issued on the '[m=47103]' EP, which was released by Touch and Go on August 20th 1993. Print on disc face has tracks 4 & 5 reversed.
