 | | Description: | You don't have to change everything. However, realigning can be the healthiest remedy after nearly two decades in the music business. Going into their eleventh full-length album, Kill The Flaw, Sevendust changed a lot around them regarding the infrastructure of their organization, but they didn't alter what matters the most-the music. Following their first significant break (two months) since forming, the Atlanta group-Lajon Witherspoon [lead vocals], Clint lowery [lead guitar, backing vocals], John Connolly [rhythm guitar, backing vocals], Vince Hornsby [bass], and Morgan Rose [drums]-entered their new creative hub, Architekt Studios in Butler, New Jersey, completely inspired and invigorated. The first single and album opener "Thank You" upholds the pillars of their signature style with a buoyant guitar groove, bombastic drums, and soulfully striking refrain. "There's always someone trying to keep you down," sighs Lajon. "At the end of the day, that negativity makes you stronger. You're still going. It says, 'Thank you for putting me down. Thank you for making me work harder. Thank you for hating!'" Thankfully, they're still Sevendust through and through, and that's what forged one of hard rock's most diehard audiences.Contains FBI Anti-Piracy Seal

Track durations taken from media player."Kill The Flaw" is a powerful studio album on CD by the American heavy rock band Sevendust, released by Import. On this record, Sevendust refine their signature mix of crushing riffs, dynamic grooves and soaring, melodic choruses, creating a contemporary metal sound that is both aggressive and remarkably accessible. The songs are characterized by tight guitar work, precise drumming and a vocal performance that alternates between emotive clarity and raw intensity, making the album suitable both for long-time fans of alternative metal and for listeners discovering the band for the first time. Lyrically, "Kill The Flaw" explores themes of personal struggle, resilience and self-empowerment, turning inner conflicts into anthemic, cathartic tracks that invite repeated listening. The production focuses on punch and clarity, giving every instrument room to breathe while preserving the organic energy of a live performance, which makes this CD a strong addition to any modern rock or metal collection.
Sevendust, formed in the 1990s in Atlanta, have established themselves as one of the most consistent and respected bands in the alternative metal and hard rock scene. Over the course of numerous studio albums and relentless touring, they have built a loyal global fanbase and earned a reputation for intense, emotionally charged live shows. They are known for blending groove-oriented metal with memorable melodies and for addressing personal and social issues in their lyrics, which has helped many of their records reach notable chart positions and critical acclaim. Their body of work showcases an evolution from raw, heavy beginnings toward a more refined and dynamic sound, with "Kill The Flaw" representing a mature, focused chapter in their discography.
